No Identity is a search started in 2005 and ended in 2012, is a set of performances realized with contemporary dancers, images without definition, always leaving unknown identities: bodies of women who look like men and vice versa. The theme dealt with in this series is the one that revolves around the concept of an individual and how it is built today on a twofold level of meaning: the concrete, tangible, of the bodily reality; as opposed to the ephemeral, gaseous, the appearance of what we are and what others see of us.

Identity is our way of perceiving and expressing ourselves. The factors and conditions an individual is born with often play a role in defining identity. However, many aspects of a person's identity change throughout their lives. People's experiences can alter the way they are seen or perceived by others.

Much of the work is shot in open spaces around the world creating performances and using dancers to express them. The chaos of the outside is deliberate and very often evident in the performative images that are documented in the photos reaffirming the connection between the artist, the environment and the means of production.
